Moving to Ireland on UK spouse visa

Post by Lant » Tue Sep 29, 2015 10:11 pm

I am enquring on behalf of a friend.
She is married to a British Citizen and has a spouse visa. She has lived here less than 5 years and they have a child together. They have now decided to move Ireland. Can she move to Ireland on a UK spouse Visa? or does she need to apply for a different visa? can she live there indefinetely?
She has asked me for help but I dont have a clue about any of this. Any advice welcome.

If you mean Southern Ireland, then no, she cannot as the spouse visa is only relevant for the UK (England, Wales, Scotland, Norther Ireland)
Char (CR001 not Casa)
