Foreign Birth Registration - hand deliver documents?

Post by CtrlF5 » Tue Jan 30, 2018 5:51 pm

Hi,

I'm hoping someone may have gone through the same as I'm about to with the Foreign Birth Registration.

I have nearly all of my documents, apart from my grandmother's birth certificate which is in Cork and I will collect myself.

As I now have 3 generations of official documents I am nervous of them going through the postal system. I also know that one or more documents will be needed within the next few months.

Would there be a way that I could hand over my documents to be checked and verified as legitimate, copy's taken and then handed back to me?
I don't mind travelling to Dublin to do so, but London or Cork would be easier.

Any help is very much appreciated.
