I am an Irish Citizen living in the Ireland. My girlfriend is from the Philippines and currently lives there.
We previously applied for a visit visa for her to visit Ireland and this was refused. It was refused as a due to previous visa refusals and they feared she may branch into the common travel area. This was as a result of a refusal by her for a UK work visa before we met.
I am now going to marry her in the Philippines and apply for a spouse visa. Does anyone think this combined with any other suggestions will strengthen our application for her to come here? Will they keep saying no? Will she have any extra rights as my wife? Does anyone have any experience similar to this?
