visitor visa extension

Post by stephibell » Mon Jun 30, 2008 12:27 am

hello,

i am canadian who has lived in ireland before with a working holiday visa. it expired and i went home. i am now back to be with my boyfriend, but was only given 30 days when i tried to enter the country. i was really hoping for the whole 90 days......does anyone have any advice or info on going for an extension? what are good reasons that they favour? i am in county cork, should i go to where i have registered previously, or will that be suspicious? i plan to work/ train and study, but haven't got it all sorted out yet....i don't want to be dishonest, but i am not sure exactly what to do and say when i go and ask.

help!!!
