Irish Citizenship association non Eu wife EUFam

Post by DavidDunlop » Wed Dec 25, 2019 7:09 pm

I’m British living in Ireland for the last 3 years with my non Eu wife she has a EUFam, my great grandmother was born in Ireland and planning to apply for citizenship by association but worried about what would happen to my wifes EUFam, does anyone know if we can change it to a stamp 4 under domestic law ?

Also when I apply for my citizenship by association could I also apply for my son?
Thanks

Your wife will maintain her Stamp 4EUFAM since you have already exercised your EU Treaty Rights. I’m not sure what will happen after Brexit though but she will be able to either maintain 4EUFAM or get converted to a Stamp 4 under domestic rules.
