Short stay C Visa

I’m looking to go on a holiday and flights from Dublin are much better.

I’m a spouse of an Irish National (Non Eu) living in Northern Ireland.

Can I apply for a short stay ‘C’ visa 2.5 months ahead of the time? I will need to fly out and fly back in via Dublin so can I use the same C visa to re-enter Dublin or do I need the multiple entries C visa?

You will need a multiple entry visa. You can apply for one up to 3 months before the first entry date.
