Utility bills for Citizenship go by Jan to Dec or work back from application date?

Post by Corkyboy » Thu Feb 12, 2026 9:39 pm

My wife applied for her Citizenship after living and working here more than 5 years and getting a 10 year Permanent Residence card. Many thanks for the help on here.

Does anyone know if utility bills are generally required as such : If you made the application in June 2025 (for example) then if you provided just 1 utility bill on a certain year, are they required to count as 1 utility bill from June to June, OR just 1 from Jan to Dec every year?

And with utility bills, do they go by the Billing period dates or Date of Issue date?

Thanks again
