Tier 1 visa processing time

Post by cl65amg » Mon Sep 11, 2017 5:00 pm

Hi everyone,

I have a question about the Tier one investor visa.

My family of 4 submitted on 11th August in Beijing for tier 1 investor visa. Wife main applicant and me and two children as the dependants.

We paid for the priority service and was told between 3-5 working days.

However, up until today, still no result.

Called the premium number from home office, was told that wife and two children case were closed on 29th August and my case is still under review. As it was over the 15 days suggested time frame, they would escalate the case and try to find out why it was delayed.

My question is:

1.Has anyone had the same experience like me?
2. What can I do to chase up home office?
3.Could it be a rejection?

Background info: wife as main applicant, has successfully opened a private bank account in the UK and money is in her account already. Although not saved for 3 months at the point of application, source of fund was supply.

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Thanks

Just received my T1 investor dependent visa today. We applied in Hong Kong on 10 Nov. My wife was the main applicant and received hers on 27 Nov.
@ cl65amg We should meet up for a coffee if you are in London, we are from China originally as well

You don't have access to the PM function as you are a new memer with only 4 posts. Members need 30 genuine posts before PM function is possible. The user you tried to post your email for, also does not have PM function.

Hi kclucas, congratulations on getting your visa. I am planning to apply for the same from Hong Kong. Do you mind sharing which agency you used to apply, or did you apply yourself?

Thanks!
