Enterpreneurship - NQF level 4/ service business provides

Post by georgenwaeze » Sun May 05, 2013 12:49 pm

Hi, Good day all! lovely sunshine in the UK atm.

I am currently in the process of applying for an enterpreneurship visa. I have access to £50000. I work as a contractor with a bank handling PPI complaints. I am the director of a limited company. I am an engineer by profession with a degree certificate but I haven't practiced much in the industry.

I intend to use claims investigation as the core service my established business provides to customers or clients which involves delivering a service such as a Payment Protection Insurance claim investigation.

Does this qualify as an occupation which appears on the list of occupations skilled to National Qualifications Framework level 4 or above as one of the attributes needed for the business you set up in UK for enterpreneurship visa grant??,

if not any other ideas of a business I may run to boost the economy of the uk with the 50000 I intend to invest into the country because I am an Engineer by profession but i have been in the line of work as a PPI claims investigator and also this experience I have could help keep me in my line of work as a self employed enterpreneur.

Although to be honest I cant figure out how working as a claims investigator would boost the economy, create jobs, or expand business/job growth. I studied and have a degree in Engineering. What sort of occupation can I render my business to have dealings with little or no experience at all??

Is it wise for me to be a claims investigator or an inexperienced IT specialists whose set up business might end up being profitless and overly taxed for instance, but the latter seems a bit more difficult to set up because I intend on going forward with a good idea and honestly dont mind expanding the business in such a way that it can productive/helpful in anyway to the UK.

Please anyone with vast or little knowledge as to what I should do should please let me know. I would deeply appreciate it.

hi

i can very well see that you are a qualified engineer and you are unable to understand how the PPI work model will benefit the UK economy...let me ask you a question....when you have tangible asset such as engineering skills why you want to invest your hard earned 50000 and 5 years in a off track career such as PPI claim company owner....Is it not possible for you to find a job that matches your skill set and experience? I am not trying to judge you as everyone as different situation, but felt that I should inquire about it as you are planning to become an entrepreneur but do not know how a businesses operate or benefit the ecology!!!
