Hi,

I have applied in December through PSW route. I have shown half of the money in UK and the rest in Pakistan. HO refused for the following reason:

We have attempted to verify your bank statement in Pakistan, using our standard procedures but unable to do so.

My money is still available in my bank. I have checked with branch manager and he confirmed no that no verification checks or any form of communication has been received from the UK Border Agency. Any verification is usually made at our Head Office and then allocated to their respective branch.

I don't know what to do. any suggestion

What do you think would have happened?
UKBA will need to confirm the funds before they can give you the visa. You have to make sure that you are using a bank that UKBA will be able to confirm the the funds easily.

Is the bank recognised by UKBA?

Did you submit the required bank letter with contact name and details?

If yes, then get a good lawyer and appeal.

UKBA is unpredictable. Go for appeal and there are lots still in the queue. Hopefully will be fine....

Fee Deducted: 08th August 2013
Hearing Date Letter Received: 11/09/2013
Hearing Date: 18/12/2013

Well, its similar I have shown half of my money in UK and rest in my country.

But there was no verification made to my bank and money was kept in my personal account.

What if its bank letter issue? What's so special about this reason?

@ alik28, you can try to get a letter from the bank in your home country which proof that HO did not carry out any verification check with them and that will help your case as the judge can use that against HO to allow your appeal.

Also make sure that the bank is on the list of banks that HO can successfully make verification checks with as this will also be a plus to your appeal.

Thanks bro, I have already got this letter from a bank. Also, I have got £50k in my UK bank account now I don't know whether judge will consider this. Any suggestion

@ alik28, I believe that the judge will allow you to use that evidence as long as HO have failed to carry out the verification check before you decide to move your money to your UK bank account.

Also prepare evidence of fund transfer from the bank account in question into your UK bank account as you need to proof to the judge that the money have been in that account until transferred to your UK account.

HO normally send bundle as soon as they receive the hearing date. I think it may be very soon.

I have received my hearing date 2 weeks ago but nothing yet received from HO. My solicitor said he can't prepare the appeal until he gets the bundle.
