Can we form an entreupreureurs team from different countries

Me and my boy friend is in UK right now as T4 Student Visa. We planned to form entrepreneur team under 200K route but we just found out that we can not apply inside the UK as student visa. So we have to come back to our country to do the visa. My visa going to expire in 1st Dec.

Is it possible that we can form an entrepreuner team when I'm in my country and he is in his country? Any one has this kind of experience so far? Thanks all.
