Help w/Visa Appeal (Tier 2 General)

Post by mangomm » Fri Oct 18, 2013 8:16 am

To anyone who can offer advice,

My visa application has been rejected because the yearly salary is stated as being lower than what is necessary for my occupation code; however, I am on an 8 month contract, and my salary is well over the minimum for my occupation code. My employer entered the pro rata salary on the Certificate of Sponsorship, rather than what the full yearly salary would be.

Does anyone have any advice for the best route to appeal in this scenario? Should I hire a lawyer?
