biotechnology to IT

hi everyone,
This forum seems to be very useful to me till now with the valuable replies given by few members,would like to thank them first.

My question is , i have done my masters in biotechnology and i seriously cant find any future unless i work very very hard with loads of finance and support provided by doctors of the field, so i want to shift to IT field where i think is the area to make good money, i have got good experience in IT and i can also manage to get contracts from companies in uk.

So, can i apply for UK Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) visa and what would be the difficulties that i would face if i apply. Am i really eligible to apply. PLEASE HELP.

@ gopi678, you can apply by offering IT service but the best way is to make sure your business is trading with income and clients to be able to convince HO that you are indeed capable of running an IT company with your qualification in biotechnology.
