Is a contract letter required for events management

Post by Auntmagnet » Sat Jan 04, 2014 1:12 pm

Hi all, I have read here that a contract is required to submit the application. How can it work for events management for a new business.

We cannot get a contract for private events as they are for individuals needing our services for birthdays etc; we can only provide an invoice but again it's a new business so that is out of the question right now.

I was hoping to use a friends business for a corporate event but it is newly incorporated and inactive. I would imagine that the company asking our services should be fully established. How can a newbie like me get a contract in this case.

Please help, we are desperate for ideas if you have applied using events management.

Thanks a lot.

an letter from bank(with which you have a business account) confirming your business as a business which is trading should work as an alternative to a contract as policy says, however if you still decide to provide a contract, you will have to design a form in which you could take the details of the client you provide services to,services details, the details of who(it is you i guess) is handling the form, price for the service, terms and conditions, place for yours and their names and signatures. provision of invoice brings value to it .

for such a business as yours recon you to have provided(at least once) the services to show your business is running you should provide more than one contracts as to show the events being catered.

let me ask you something, if you are falling into 50,000 Cat. I do not know if you meet being the level 4 occupation requirement having this business
thanks,
