hi ,
i applied tier 1 entrepreneur visa in july 2013 and got refusal in September saying that the soc code doesn't matches to the position which i applied, they said it is under nqf level3 (restauraneur).Home office also told me that i have right to appeal and i got my hearing date on 21 jan 2014.so i got all the documents ready with a recent bank statement and i have already spend about 20 grand in my business . so can you please help me out guys to face the interview and what should i say to the judge if he asks about the soc code
Thanks regards
sadik.

well if they said so, you should know the course of action to take to prove a job you claim is at level 4 or above actually is.
you would have thought working at this position is at level 4 or above before you filled in an application form, you might want to add more responsibilities(account, employment, deployment etc.) that you undertake for your restaurant or takeaway but sorry to say these are going to be your services to your business while your SOC is considered relevant to services to clients that to me would be cooking food, serving or delivering the food.
you would have to think at an extended level as to what to add that could prove your delivery to your business in terms of its provision to client is actually at level 4 or above.

wish you best of luck with your appeal hearing
thanks,
