Switch From to Tier 2 Visa or any other visa

Post by naya » Thu Mar 02, 2017 8:50 pm

Hello,

I am on Tier 1 Entrepreneur and the extension is expiring on January 2018. However, I am not sure if I could meet with one of the requirement that says the 50K should be spent for the business.
My business had some around 40K expenses each year for the last 5 years but there were incomes to cover the expenses. Although initially I had spent 50K all on the business, over the years I have withdrew some of the investment and now there is less than a half of the fund is shown on the Accounts as a director's loan. Which makes it difficult to confirm that the 50K was spent. So, I am looking for an alternative routes to switch to and have some questions.

1. Is it allowed to switch from Tier 1 Entrepreneur to Tier 2?
2. If yes, could the person apply within the UK or required to leave and apply?
3. Is it allowed to switch to family life as a parent of a child who lived here for at least 7 years?
4. If, yes what are the ways to prove that staying in the UK is for my child's best interest. My child was not born in the UK.

Your help/ professional advice is much appreciated!
Thank you,
Naya

I have split your post to its own topic. Kindly refrain from tagging onto other members topics as it is considered rude and creates confusion.

Suggest read the forum T&Cs, as you were required to do when registering on the forum.

How old is the child? This route is not a magic ticket visa and is difficult to get based on a child born outside the UK.

Thank you so much for your prompt response. My children are 17, 12 and 10 years old.
The 17 years old have been in the UK for 8 years since 2009.
The younger 2 have been here 7 years since 2010.

During ILR you do not have to submit accounts only proof of employment. As such do not see this as an issue.
