Hi everyone.
My husband is applying for a Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa extension. He is sending the application via post as required and he has all needed documents. I was helping with the process (I’m his wife) and was filling out details for myself his partner and his dependents our kids. I completed the application for us online as this option was offered to us. Here is the question. The online application is telling me to submit our supporting documents (passports and proof of funds) to the HO in Sheffield. My husbands application is going by post to Durham. Is this a problem? Did I make a huge error by not filling partner/ dependent forms by post? I didn’t realise this as it doesn’t state anywhere online to do one type over the other. Should I just submit everything of ours with his? I called UKVI and they instructed me to send mine to Sheffield but i am not sure they are the most informed in all matters. Any insight?

It should not matter. Just follow the instructions and send your documents to Sheffield. Make sure you add a cover letter to state that your husband's application has been sent to Durham and yours should be kept pending until that is decided.

Hi - me again. Sorry but I neglected to mention one thing. On my husbands main application there are details requested about us- his family passport information and pictures requested documents showing funds marriage and birth certificates. In addition we had to each do a separate application as his dependents - as I mentioned - I did this online. Should I still send our passports to Sheffield or should I take the confirmation of payment and print out of our application and put it in with his.
Sorry as you can image we are wanting to put forth the best possible application

Don't worry too much about these small administrative details. Just ensure there are references to the main applicant in the dependants application and that should be good enough.
