Thank you Zimba. I am a bit lost as so many changes were made. I am reading on Gov UK and it is confusing between a family visa, spouse visa etc. I can not seem to find the exact guidance for this type of extension. There used to be a PDF form available. Could you please point me in the right direction?
thank you. If I understand correctly, the fee for in the UK application is £1277 + NHS surcharge for three years + the biometrics fee. If we both have been in the UK for over 12 months - there is no maintenance requirement to prove?Zimba wrote: ↑Tue Jun 08, 2021 2:07 pmShe is still under Tier 1 PBS dependant route and will remain so. Ignore other things.

thank you Zimba. Does it make any difference whether I or my partner are employed/ our financial status at all? Foe example, she just turned a freelancer and I am changing jobs with a few months' break in between.
Thank you Zimba.
Unfortunately not. The immigration rules state it will be a 3 year extension when the main PBS visa holder has got ILR. There is no discretion to shorten the time it is granted for.Any advice welcome is there is anything to reduce the number of years required on the visa and associated surcharge.
thank you CR001, well it is what it is!CR001 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 06, 2021 7:28 pmUnfortunately not. The immigration rules state it will be a 3 year extension when the main PBS visa holder has got ILR. thank you, that's helpful.
there is a question specifically asking whether we have received medical treatment in the UK, with simple answers Yes or No. If you answer yes, it starts asking you have you paid, when, what are the dates, addresses of hostitals etc. The only option to avoid this is to answer No, I haven't had any medical treatment. So, what should one do?
thanks. what if i want a two year fee and two year visa? Can i put two years in the future?
