Maintenance Funds and Dependants

I wish to apply for PSW visa. I have enough funds to cover myself, spouse and a child.

I'm applying at the same time with my dependants. My question is, since my wife (obviously above 16 years) has been here for over 2 years, do she need to have a separate account on her own name before she can be included in the application?

No. she is your dependent and does not require seperate account.
