British parent with EU family

Post by Angie77 » Wed May 10, 2017 11:20 am

I am British and my partner has PRC and he is due to apply for citizenship soon. We have 3 EU kids who have been here for only 2 years.
My partner has just lost his job and I used the benefit calculator to find out if I could claim any benefit.
I am entitled to a range of benefits but I am afraid to apply for them and this somehow hamper my partner BC application or future residence applications my for my kids in case they need to apply for residence as self sufficient.
Seniors members could you please advise what I should do?

If your partner holds PR, then no effect on partner's BC application.
Char (CR001 not Casa)

Thank you for you reply.

Do you know about my kids? Could it have any negative impact on my kids future entitlement to permanent residence?

Thanks

I am filling out the tax credits form.
Question 5.3 earning as employee from all Jobs for the year 2016 to 2017.

Does it need to be the accurate earnings or it can be only estimate ?
Not sure the exactly income earnings amount as We have worked in more than 1 job.

Accurate. Your P60s will give you that information.

Are you aware that all tax credits MUST be claimed in joint names?
(Casa, not CR001)
Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.

Accurate. Your P60s will give you that information.

My situation:
I worked in 2 jobs at the same time Last year for a few
months. I told my main full time job that I was working part time in another job as well. However when I left my part time job I never handed over my P45 to my full time job as I never took it. Therefore I don't think my P60 contain my earnings from my part time job.

My partner situation:
Worked in several agencies jobs Last year on a temporary base.
His p60 only contain earnings from His Last job which he worked for only 3 weeks.

We can estimate our earnings. Shall I write on the side a little note explaining that We know only the estimates earnings?

PS: I am aware that is a joint application.
I am taking into account previous advice that it should not have any negative impact on my husband BC application.
Thanks
