Around 2-3 k should be alright but depends on the number of days the visitors ll stay. What about accommodation? Do you have sufficient place to accommodate them?

If u want them to stay for 6 months u might need to have spare cost I.e if u are sponsoring the stay .
If they have funds then 2-3 k is fine else u might need sufficient cash to prove tickets, accommodation , local travelling costs etc
2 bed house won't suffice , if there are adults it's better to have atleast 3 bed to avoid rejection..

Best option would be book a hotel for few weeks or so .. Its free to reserve a hotel room and get a booking confirmation in your email. you can use that for your tourist visa application
and its free to cancel your reservation too. So you can just go online and cancel it as soon as you get your visa, if your not planning to stay there
