Assistance needed on Change of Address...Urgent

Post by praveen golla » Sat May 25, 2013 10:09 pm

Hi,
i am switching from Tier1 psw to Tier 2 General, applied a month ago and submitted biometrics 10 days earlier, i needed to move houses next week.

what will be the best course of action to do ?

1. redirecting the letters through royal mail or

2. let UKBA know about change of address

if option 2 is right one i found this form in UKBA website there it is asking to enter home office reference number what is this one is it the reference number on acknowledge letter.

thanks in advance for your help.

I was in a similar situation last year. I had applied for my PSW and done my biometric enrollment, but then I had to move to a different town.
I filled out the Change of Circumstances form and posted it to UKBA. For the reference number, I filled out the numbers on both my acknowledgement letter and Biometric enrollment invitation letter. I think the field calls for 'Home Office Reference number(s)', implying more than one reference number.

You can always opt for alternative 1, but bear in mind you will still need to inform home office of your change of address and BRP card is usually delivered by DX Secure, not Royal Mail.

I hope this helps.

You're welcome. I am not aware of this form, I haven't used it before.
