Tier 2 (General)- Change of Employer and SOC code

Hi All,

I am on Tier 2 (General) visa since March 2011 (got 3 years visa) and applied for further extension (got 3 years visa) with the same sponsor in February 2014. At this point (June), am I eligible to take new job under new soc code (job title will change) and new sponsor? Will this affect my Indefinite leave to remain (ILR) on 5 year route? I understand I will be eligible for ILR after completing 5 years if I remain on the same SOC code as I am on Tier 2 (general) visa before 6th April 2011 rules.

The reason for changing the employer/sponsor is because my current one may go out of business within the next 2-3 months as per the current financial situation.

Please help. Thanks!
