Cooling off period query

Hi,

I've been working under a Tier 2 visa since 2013 but my employment will finish on 31 December 2014, so I think my visa will be curtailed to February 2015.

My plan is to stay in the UK until February 2015 and go back to my home country in March 2015. From my country I will apply for a Tier 4 visa to start a Masters in the UK in September 2015. Could you please confirm if I will be allowed to apply for a Tier 4 visa in July 2015 (to return to the UK in September 2015) or the cooling off period won't allow me to do that?

I believe that you should be able to apply for Tier 4 as the cooling off period only applies if you're applying for Tier 2 again from your home country.

Wait for experts' opinions though.
