37.5hrs in 4days on Tier 2 General?

I am on Tier2 General for last 4years. Due to the redundancies my employer is offering me a lower level job with less pay. I am wondering if I can work all my contractual 37.5 hours in 4days so that I can do similar job somewhere else for a day. Would that be ok? Would my employer be in trouble for that if they get audited.

I know I can take up of similar role for extra 20hours a week. Thanks

should be ok. As long as you are doing the hours which were described in your cos, it should be fine.
make sure your new lower salary is still appropriate to the soc your visa is based on.

Will do. If I have to change the contractual hours from 37.5 to 30 do I need to make new visa application? Can you please advise?
