RLMT exemption question

Post by pintokhan » Mon Feb 08, 2016 4:33 pm

Hi,

I would like some clarification on a small question.

I have a UK bachelor's degree. However, I am not currently in the UK and do not have a valid visa. Am I exempt from the RLMT as per section 28.10(f) of the Tier-2 guidance policy (https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... dendum.pdf) ?

Thank you

You are not exempt as you do not have a current tier 4 visa and are applying from out of country in any case

Thank you for the reply. If the job comes under the shortage-occupation, would I still have to be inside UK to be RLMT exempt?

SOL roles are exempt from RLMT regardless of where the application is made.
