Returning to old sponsor after 1 year

Hey,

Here's my scenario:

Tier 4 Visa: Jan 2013 - May 2014
Tier 2 Visa (Sponsor A): May 2014 - May 2016
Change of Sponsor - Tier 2 Visa (Sponsor B): May 2016 - April 2017

I've been offered a good job back with Sponsor A and they're more than happy to sponsor me again on Tier 2. I've got 2 years left until I can apply for ILR. My question is: will the home office/UKBA have any reason to reject my application purely due to the fact that I'm going back to the same sponsor again? Does it in any way not appear legitimate? Even if they do a full RMLT/CoS makes sense and all that.

Ideally it shouldn't, however, you are saying they offered a good job (?)....

Did the original advert meet RLMT requirements n were you interviewed​ at that time ?

Hey srsw,

Yes, they did the required RMLT and I was interviewed twice for the new role.
Does HO have a reason to reject sponsorship purely to the fact that I previously worked for the same company?

As long as the paperwork is well maintained to show number of applicants and why you were chosen over UK or EU candidates it should be fine i believe (but that's just my opinion). They may scrutinise a bit more but if everything is genuine then i would expect it to not affect your chances.

Other members/seniors who might have done similar thing may have more to offer.
