UK Tier 2 Dependent visa for child born in UK

Hi all,

I applied for Tier 2 child dependent visa for my 4m old baby on 7July 2017, sent documents via POST standard service on 10 July and biometric was given on 20 July. I still haven't received any letter from UK Visa and Immigration nor I am able to check status online. How much time it takes for getting approval letter, passport, BRP and other docs? Please reply based on your experience. I am really worried..

It can take up to 8 weeks, sometimes longer.

Thanks for responding. Is there anyway we can track the application status? I tried the one online check but it doesn't work.
