Do primary applicant need to show funds for dependant visa

Hello,

I would like to have small favour from the experts out over here.

Am going to apply for Tier 2 General - Dependant visa, can anyone of you please help me out with documents that would be required for applying the same.

Have been bit confused on various artefacts I read online hence thought of asking it out over here.

read the guidance, get the checklist and list the docs. if someone has any comment, they will add to your list. But it is YOU who will need to start listing things

Checklist according to me for dependant visa as follows,

1. Maintenance letter - Spouse
2. BRP Copy - Main applicant
3. Visa copy - Main applicant
4. COS letter - Main applicant
5. Passport - Spouse
6. TB Test
7. Marriage Certificate
8. Bank statement - Spouse
9. Salary slip - Main applicant
10. Accomodation letter - (Is it required ? )
11. Employment Letter - Main applicant

Please add if I missed something or is necessary

Application is going to be submitted from India. Primary applicant already in UK.

What about evidence of subsisting relationship and communication etc.?

Hope below assumption of my understanding is true,
- Marriage certificate from court (for showing relationship)
- We do chat and call via WhatsApp, I can put in extract of our conversation in it.

Anything else that would be required ?

official Marriage registration certificate from municipal corporation or/and marriage certificate from the court or/and.
Marriage photos/and other photos of both optional
All these I used for my wife visa.

Letter from the main applicant addressing to high commission.
I applied in 2009, so I am not sure how much applicable now.
Otherwise, you are good to go.

I have few doubts with regards to Tier 2 General - Dependant visa, would be grateful if any of you can help upon,

1. Maintenance statement - If dependant provides banks statement showing 630 pounds is that sufficient. Do primary applicant need to show any funds than ?

2. Is accomodation letter required while applying dependant visa. Have seen reference to same in many topics , bit confused.

Hello All,

I am in a bit of fix hope you can help me on same.

My fiancee is coming to India on 8th November and we are planning to get court marriage done in India on 1st December and planning to apply for visa by 12th as obtaining certificate from court might take a week.

My question is - Is there any validity for any of the documents like should not be more than a month old or so.

Ex - Cos letter, salary slips, Employment letter (Primary applicant).

My documents I can get it nearer to visa interview date from here but worried about her documents.
