Tier 2 visa extension

Post by vlabathomas » Thu Oct 26, 2017 10:05 pm

Hi,

I'm working on a tier 2 general visa in UK for an employer since 2015. I heard there is an immigration surcharge employer has to pay these days for sponsoring tier 2 work permits.

Can you confirm if the immigration surcharge applies for tier 2 general visa extensions while working for the same employer?

regards
Thomas

The ISC does not apply to CoS assigned to individuals before 6 April 2017 or to existing Tier 2 workers already in the UK before 6 April 2017 who extend their stay or change job or employer.

Suggest not critisise members who take the time to comment. You are after all posting here for free advice are you not?? Not all members know the ins and outs of every visa category.

If you feel there is too much 'wrong' information being given out on the forum, you can of course find an advisor and pay for advice
