Application for Sponsorship license

Post by mohamedlasheen » Thu Nov 16, 2017 9:08 am

A UK Employer/Company applied for a sponsorship license application last January, they were rejected for some reasons related to not providing the mandatory fields in Appendix A in which they were asked to provide details about the migrant they are willing to hire and how they have reached him.

They are is willing to re-apply for a sponsorship license, do they need to perform a resident Labor Market Test before applying to get sponsorship license again?

RLMT is only valid for 6 months, so yes they will likely have to do it again.

Also note that there were some rule changes in April this year, i.e. the immigration skills surcharge payable and the minimum salary must be £30,000pa or if the SOC salary is higher, then it must be the higher salary.

they didn't perform the RLMT at the first time, they are now preparing for a new application of sponsorship license (the initial application), so they need first to perform a RLMT before submitting the initail application in which they can not specify the restricted COS, is that correct?,

Is there any chance they could be able to submit the initial application first before performing a RLMT?

Sponsorship license and RCoS-Need help

Post by mohamedlasheen » Fri Nov 17, 2017 8:34 am

Guys,

I am seeking to join a company as a structural engineer from outside UK, I need to make sure about the process of getting a RCoS for a company which doesn't yet have a license of sponsorship. as I understand; the following should be the steps:

1. Company is to perform a RLMT for 28 days, say from 17 November to 15 December 2017; please confirm that t he test must have been performed before initail application for the sponsorship license.
2. Company is to apply for the initial application of sponsorship; by the way the initial application doesn't have a field that the company can specify the number of RCoS they want to have, instead there is a statement to the unrestricted CoS, should they mention the number of RCoS in that field?,
3. Company is to submit the application by the end of December say 20 December 2017 to target the allocation of January 2017, they must attach the results of the RLMT to their application.
4. If the application is acceptable; the home office would respond and agree the number of RCoS requested in the application.
5. Once approved, the company will assign the RCoS to the applicant
6. the applicant will use that to support his Tier 2 Visa application

Please confirm or correct that sequence in order to avoid wasting time.

Dear All,

I really need your advice, for the above questions, Does the company need to perform RLMT before submitting their initial application to get a sponsorship license?

Why not simply read the sponsorship guidance notes on what the requirements are.
