Tier 2 ICT Extension query

hi all,

I have a very unique situation and not able to get any answer from anywhere:
- My t2 ict is due to expire on 15 mar 2019.
- This will be extended by 2 more years from my current employers.

The issue is - i have to travel outside UK in mid Jan.
so
- can i apply to extend in december ? I heard you cannot apply before 60 days of expiry.
- lets say if i travel outside without applying extension and come back to uk in jan end
-- if i wiil be allowed in uk as my leave to remain left is just 1.5 months ?

Appreciate any help or pointers to any HMRC website.

You will be allowed to enter the UK as long as you have a valid leave to remain.
In the past I have returned with only 4 weeks of leave remaining

Is it mentioned anywhere ? I mean does the leaving country will create any issue or UK Border force when we land here.

hi all,
I am looking for help on below query:

Scenario:

- ICT extention due for mid march 2019
- Applying for extention on around mid feb

Query :
- If Biometrics is submitted around feb end and the processing time is generally 6-8 weeks... so during that time my ICT will expire around mid march--
Am i allowed to stay in country till i receive my BRP ?
If yes then how long ?
Is it till the decision or BRP comes ?
