CoS Validity

Hi, I arrived in the UK 6 months ago and I am an A-rated sponsored employee. My CoS was issued around the 1st week of December 2017. In the visa application for my delendants, which I am only doing now, I am prompted to key in my CoS number, is this still valid? I know that the CoS is only valid for 3 months when I was applying. So I’m a bit confused if it’s any different for my dependants. Thanks

The COS is required in dependent's application for home office to confirm the main applicant's details. You are not using the COS for main application. The expiry of COS if for the main application. It should be fine.
