IELTS Type Change AUS --> UK Necessary

Hi,

We were originally going to Australia but got a better prospect in the UK.
My IELTS - General test is on 1st December. Would this be sufficient for the UK or does it have to be the UKVI test?

And normally can this be changed without having to rebook the test?
Tried calling the hotline on this subject, but no response ..

Do you already have an RCoS approved by your sponsoring employer??

Not yet, but the company is in the process of getting registering.
I don't want to do two test if not necessary.

Also, I have done a National Diploma (3 years) course in South Africa. How can I check if this accepted with UK NARIC so that I don't have to do the test?

You should enquire at the centre (HO approved hopefully) and do the UKVI SELT test (not academic though).

A national diploma, from my recollection, is not a degree certificate. NARIC only assess degrees for English and UK Bachelor degree comparable.

For info, UK NARIC and the English test both cost the same, £150.
