I was put on 10 year private life route based on my length of stay (17 years) in UK and family members. I graduated in Engineering from UK university and now I am working for leading Aerospace company in UK qualifying for Tier 2 visa based on salary and eligibility criteria.
I would now like to sponsor my wife who is Non-EEA which I am unable to do so on current situation, as person on private route aren't considered as settled status and cannot sponsor spouse.
I would like to know if I wanted to switch to Tier 2 from private life route am I able to do so within UK? This will allow me to sponsor my wife for her to be called over to UK.
