Tier 2 Fees increase?

Hi, I am planning to apply for Tier 2 (General) extension in late January 2019 using premuim one day service, which by that time would become super priority 24h service, if my understanding is correct.
According to gov.uk the fee for Tier 2 (General, Non-shortage occupations, up to 3 years) leave to remain, premium service is currently 1314 GBP and will not change. However, some sources say the new fee would be 1944 GBP. Could someone clarify if the fees are increasing with introduction of the new visa application system within the UK or did I miss something?

There has been no announcement of VISA fee increases since the publication on 8th October.

I have studied these documents carefully and this one has 1944 GBP stated for super priority service, which is quite confusing...

That is the visa fee PLUS the extra processing fee for super priority. Still not guaranteed to get a response on your application within 24 hours, as some members have already discovered.

According to the below document the visa fee for Tier 2 (General), (Intra-Company Transfer) - Long Term Staff, (Sportsperson) & (Minister of Religion) is 704 GBP for applications made in the UK, while Expedited processing -Premium Service Centre -Super Premium service -Super Priority service (new arrangements) is 610 GBP, which takes me to the total of 1314 GPB.

I am still confused where 1944 GBP comes from...what am I missing?

You are missing the point that the premium service same day is closing tomorrow and won't be available. Only the new service is available.

The service fee structure is different.

I am aware it is closing tomorrow, but no fee increase has been announced on October 8.

Does it mean the difference between the 1944 GBP and 1314 GBP, which is 630 GBP, an additional fee for some kind of service?

Some visa fees increased in October, not all.

I don't have experience of the new system. Applying online will tell you what services are available to book and the cost, as far as I am aware.

I guess it is the best way, but I can't actually check the fees until I pay the IHS fee, and I am not applying till late January as will not receive the new CoS till then - just need to check the actual fees.

I would appreciate if someone who has applied these days or planning to apply, clarifies this matter.

Note also that IHS fee is also doubling in December to £400 per year.
