COS for dependent visa

I have been in UK for last one month in tier 2 general visa and my COS is expiring on 17th April 2019.
Can I use the same COS for dependent visa application even after its expiry date?
I am planning to bring my husband and 2 children in may second week.
If I cannot use It, What is the next option?
Also, do I need to meet any other requirements for dependent visa application?

Your dependents are dependent on you not your sponsor.

Simply complete the details the form asks for.
