Starting own company (appoint as director) on tier 2 visa

Hello, I am on tier 2 general visa, first 3 years visa term is expiring in September 2019. I will be applying for extension after that. Will it be okay for me to be a director of other company jointly with one of my friends who is a British passport holder? I will not be working in it for more than 20 hours. It will be kind of side business for me. Thank you in advance for your time.
