When can I apply for ILR?

Hi everyone. I was on a Tier 4 student visa in which expired at the end of 31/10/14. I submitted a postal application for Tier 2 on 15/08/14. My brp issue date is from 07/10/14; however I started work earlier (08/10/14).

It is coming up to the 5 year anniversary - when can I apply for ILR? 28 days before my start work date, 28 days before my original COS assigned status date or 28 days before my BRP issue date?

No sooner than within 28 days before the tier 2 visa start date.

The other dates are irrelevant for qualifying for ILR.
