Tier 2 Gen - Dependant visa

Hi,

I am on Tier 2 General visa and am currently applying dependant visa for my child who is born in India March 2019.

My Tier 2 Gen visa validity period : 29-Jul-2016 till 30-Aug-2021

I am in the UK since the start of my visa.

1. Since my visa validity is just around 2 years, I need to pay the visa fee and NHS surcharge accordingly (for 2 years). But my issue is there is a question in the visa application asking about the length of my COS validity.
Is the question about the remaining validity OR the total time given at the start of the COS? If I have to answer it as 5 years I will have to pay double the amount and if I have to answer 2 years I will be not answering it correctly.

Please let me know what to answer.

2. There is one more question asking for Reference number for the main applicant which is
a) VAF number
b) GWF number
c) No, I do not have a reference number

I do not have any reference number, when I tried to give in the BRP reference number it is NOT accepting.

What do I need to give.
