Outstanding IHS Payment - Dependent Extension

Hi Friends,

I have a question about my family Visa extension. I have applied under general category for them as my employer not sponsor the family. my wife already have BRP with NI numbers and its just extension. During application I have not paid IHS(due to confusion as one of my friend told me its one time fee which I paid during initial application), I have got a email on 16th Sep for the same with a payment link and I made the payment in 10 mins and responded back to the mail. I still do not have any clue what is happening with application. I have a planned vacations by 2nd Oct. can anyone pls help if you faced the same problem and how long it took to get approval? or there will be no approval email but directly BRP will be delivered.

note - we all done biomatric same time(2nd Aug), I have already got my BRP(my application was filled by third party designated by employer) but pending for kid and wife.

Unclear what visa exactly your wife has applied for?? Is it a Tier 2 General dependent, a FLR(M) spouse visa......???

What is your UK immigration status?

my wife applied as PBS Dependant - Partner, I am on sponsored Tier 2 ICT long term.

Not sure how you managed to bypass the IHS page and complete the application. Suggestion, never listen to 'friends' when it comes to immigration applications. Always refer directly to HO guidance and website, where it clearly states IHS is mandatory for every application you make.

Did you make a super priority or standard service application?

You simply need to wait to hear back from HO.

Its standard one, they mentioned that it will be processed urgently once payment is made, does it mean they consider full 10 days time( the standard period due for fee and in case not paid they reject it). in my case that is 28th Sep.
