IHS - Excess Pay

Post by Krit1234 » Tue Oct 15, 2019 3:50 pm

Hi,

I am applying for PBS Dependent visa Extension.
I came to the UK in 2016 May and my current visa is expiring by Nov 2019.

My husband got his ILR last Feb 2019. As per his Current BRP, the ILR visa is Valid until 2024.

I will be eligible to apply my ILR by May 2021. And I am applying for 3 Year PBS Dependent Visa Extention.

When I go to the IHS page to play my Health Surcharge it's prompting me to Pay 2200 Pounds instead of 1200 Pounds (400 X 3 )
There was a question on IHS page about my husband's visa Expiry date which is until 2025 and it's calculating the surcharge as ( 400 X 5.5 yrs)

had anyone come across this situation? Can anyone tell me how do I make the payment for the correct amount?

If you search the forum, as you have clearly seen, this is a glitch in the system. Simply put the ilr expiry date as 3 years from now. Many have done this as has been advised 100s of times on the forum!!

Hi,

I did search the forum but havent come across that its a glitch to carry this workaround.
I will proceed to state the ILR as ending in 3 years. I am bit confident now that it is okay to foolproof the system and it will not have an impact on the application as providing false data!

Many Thanks again !
Good Day
