URGENT: Resident Labour Market Test

Post by sharmankita » Fri Dec 20, 2019 11:05 pm

Hi guys,

I am currently in the UK on a tier-4 student visa and i was verbally offered a job by a UK company sometime in october. However, due to the fact that my role does not fall into the shortage occupancy list ( its an experienced role) and a few other things, they said they are required to conduct a RLMT and the outcome of the test would determine whether the company can sponsor me or not. it would be helpful of any of you can provide advise on the following:

1. The advertisement for the job was put up online recently and i was wondering if i need to apply for the role again?

2. My tier-4 visa expires in Jan 2020 so clearly i dont have much time available and Im afraid that I would not get to know the outcome of the RLMT before my visa expiry.( the advertisement deadline is 15th Jan) I am really confused if i should book tickets for back home or wait till last week of jan to see what the outcome of RLMT was like???

Please share your response guys :) I am highly tensed at the moment.
