Confused on my status

Hi
My previous tier 2 employers license was revoked in Dec 2019. I received my December salary from previous employer. After this no salary. The new Tier 2 with existing employer was approved in 2 months at end of Feb 2020. My new Tier 2 employer said we will start from April 1st but due to Corona lockdown extended this to June. Now he says start has to be next month.
I have a valid Tier 2 visa from this employer but no salary slips as I have not been able to start the job due to lockdown.
What is my status at the moment. It is no fault of mine if employer has not started the payroll. Will this impact my ILR which is due after a year.
