My son’s dependent visa is expiring on 14th Dec 2021. I have submitted his extension application today but not getting biometric slot before 14th Dec. Earliest date I am getting is 20th Dec. Will this be counted as overstay if I dont get biometric for him by 14th ?

No it is not 'overstay'! The date of application is the date you submit and pay online and not the biometric appointment date.

Thanks CR001. What is the max gap between application submission and biometric anyone can have? This gap can be wrongly used by people and use for over staying!!

It is NOT overstaying!!

From date of application, you have 45 days to enroll biometrics.

You are overthinking this.
