Hello,
I came to UK 4 months back on ICT visa and right to work check was done by my employer that time. Expiry date on old BRP was 14-May-2022.
I got a new job offer with skilled worker visa sponsorship. Skilled worker visa is approved and I have received my new BRP with start date as 17-Mar-2022 and valid for few years. This of course makes my old BRP invalid and old ICT visa invalid and I am assuming the previous sponsorship with current company who did ICT visa is also cancelled. I am still serving the notice period with my current company who sent me to UK on ICT visa.
Under the above circumstances can you please tell me whether -
1. It is necessary for me to inform my current employer that I have got new skilled worker visa ?
2. Does current employer (who did ICT visa) need to do right to work check again as I am currently serving notice period with them ?
3. If yes then since right to work check will happen on e-visa which is now a skilled worker category tagged to the new employer, is there any chance of current employer knowing who is the new employer ?
