Bringing Wife now and Kid Later to UK

Hi,

I have recently moved to UK on Tier 2 General Visa with an A rated sponsor. My Wife and a son (1.5 Years) are still in India. I wish to bring my wife now and kid later (3-6 months later) to UK on dependent visas. Is it allowed considering Child will be without parents living with Grandparents in India or is there any complications to go through this route. Please help!
