Why lower rate threshold is higher than standard rate for graphic designer

2142 Graphic and multimedia designers – all jobs
Standard Rate £30,960 (£15.88 per hour)
Lower Rate £35,800 (£18.36 per hour)

It looks like an error. Any idea why lower rate salary is higher than the standard rate.

My employer is offering 22k salary to existing graphic designers, do they need to increase salary to £35,800 at the time of extension?

It was in shortage occupation list and now in immigration salary list. Reduced rates apply. However, if someone know please share if this is correct or an error.

I’ve spoken to the solicitor who has telephoned home office about this enquiry. From what she said, it seems to be an error like you said. I am now hoping to get an update of this as well as I have the same issue about the salary requirement when it comes to the time to apply for my indefinite leave to remain.
