I switched from tier 4 to skilled worker dependant while in uk with my wife as my dependant initially on my tier 4 visa. My wife got the skilled worker job, and I was switching to become her dependant on the visa. I submitted the application on the same date as my wife who paid for priority service while I did not. My visa was then granted about 6 weeks after hers. Can I base the qualifying period start date on the date of application given that I applied on the same date with the main applicant, and we were both in the uk at the time of the application?
