Job Title differs in CoS & Visa Applications than offer letter

Post by UHSS » Sat Jul 06, 2024 6:19 pm

Hi,
I am seeking some expert advise on the situation of a Visa Application for changing the employer. My new employer assigned a CoS in which the Job Title is mentioned as a typical title from the list available under the SOC irrespective of what is specified to me in the offer letter. Already, I'm working as a Senior level & the same was mentioned in my entry clearance application couple of years ago. However, due to new CoS application was issued for changing employer, a generic title (lower than Senior) was mentioned rather than Principal role. Can someone help me understand will this misalign the with role I'm going to work in the company and the data held by the home office? Does this has any implications on my immigration status or affects in way?
